Affiliate disclosure
Some links on Minecraft Hosts may be affiliate links. Commissions never influence which providers are listed, the filters or the sort order.
Updated September 22, 2026
Minecraft Hosts is free to use. To help cover the cost of running the site, some outbound links to hosting providers may be affiliate links. This page explains what that means and what it does not change.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a link to a provider's website that lets the provider know the visit came from us. If you then buy a plan, we may receive a commission from the provider.
This costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the price the provider charges, whether or not you arrive through an affiliate link.
How affiliate links are identified
Affiliate links are marked with an "Affiliate link" label next to the link or button. Technically, they also carry the rel="sponsored nofollow" attributes, which is the standard way to tell search engines that a link is commercial. Links to host websites without an affiliate relationship are also nofollow.
Links without this label are ordinary links, and we earn nothing from them.
What commissions never influence
Our editorial rules are strict on this point. Affiliate commissions, or the absence of them, never influence:
- Which providers are listed. Being listed is free and does not require an affiliate agreement.
- The filters. A provider matches or does not match your filters based on its plans, nothing else.
- The sort order. The list is sorted by factual data only (price by default, or RAM, players, price per GB and verification date), as explained on the methodology page. There is no score and no commercial criterion.
Equal terms for all providers
Many hosting providers do not run an affiliate program, and some that do have not partnered with us. These providers are listed on exactly the same terms as the others: same data format, same filters, same sort order. The only difference is that their outbound links are ordinary links.
