Privacy policy
How Minecraft Hosts handles personal data: no accounts, no cookies set by the site, local compare selection, Cloudflare hosting and your GDPR rights.
Updated September 22, 2026
Note: This policy will be reviewed before public launch.
This page explains what personal data is processed when you use minecraft-hosts.com, and why. The short version: the site is static, has no accounts and sets no cookies of its own.
Who is responsible
The site is operated under the name Minecraft Hosts. The full legal details of the operator (legal entity, address and any registration information) will be completed here before public launch. Until then, you can reach us at contact@minecraft-hosts.com for any question about your data.
What we do not do
- There are no user accounts: you never create a profile or log in.
- The site itself sets no cookies.
- We do not sell, rent or share personal data for advertising.
- We do not build profiles of visitors.
Data stored in your browser
When you select providers to compare, that selection is saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage) so it is still there when you come back. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing the selection on the site or clearing your browser's site data.
Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare)
The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. To serve pages and protect the site against attacks and abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This processing is necessary for security and for delivering the site. Cloudflare acts under its own privacy policy and data processing terms.
Analytics
We may enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites and only provides aggregated statistics, such as the number of page views. It does not allow us to identify individual visitors.
Emails you send us
If you write to us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use them only to answer you and to handle your request (for example, a data correction). We do not add you to a mailing list.
Links to hosting providers
The site contains links to hosting providers' websites, some of which may be affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). When you follow one, you leave Minecraft Hosts. The provider's website is governed by its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies, including cookies used to attribute an affiliate referral. We do not control those sites.
Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies, technical processing for security and delivery relies on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and working website. Answering your emails relies on our legitimate interest in responding to requests you send us.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase personal data concerning you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, write to contact@minecraft-hosts.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if the site's features change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest update. Questions are welcome through the contact page.
