Our review

Analysis written by Valentin for Minecraft Hosts from the plans and information published by Kinetic Hosting, checked on October 9, 2026. This is not a hands-on test.

Verdict

Kinetic Hosting is a UK host founded in 2020 that sells Minecraft servers from 4 GB at 4.99 USD a month to 124 GB at 123.99 USD, roughly 1.00 USD per GB from 8 GB up. Every package includes 60 GB of NVMe storage, 5 backup slots and Java or Bedrock. The catch is the CPU: the cards say "up to" a Ryzen 9 9950X, while the specs page lists older Ryzen 5000 and Xeon machines at several locations and guarantees no model.

Pros

  • About 1.00 USD per GB from 8 GB upward
  • 60 GB NVMe and 5 backup slots on every package
  • Java and Bedrock on the same package
  • CPU models published for each of the 15 locations
  • 7-day refund, also after a renewal payment

Limitations

  • CPU model not guaranteed, older Ryzen 5000 and Xeon at some sites
  • 6 to 8 CPU threads only, even on 124 GB
  • No quarterly or annual discount shown
  • Location count differs between pages (15 vs 16)
  • No statement on VAT on the plans

Best for

  • Large modded servers on a budget: 16 GB for 15.99 USD, 32 GB for 31.99 USD a month
  • Players who switch between Java and Bedrock: both run on the same packages
  • Owners who want to check the hardware: CPU models are published per location

Less suited if

  • You need a guaranteed CPU: "a specific CPU model isn't guaranteed"
  • You want a discount for paying upfront: no quarterly or annual price is shown
  • You need live chat at night: it runs 12 hours a day

Pricing and billing

The twelve performance packages run from 4.99 USD for 4 GB to 123.99 USD for 124 GB. The price per GB falls from about 1.25 USD at 4 GB to about 1.00 USD from 8 GB upward (7.99 USD for 8 GB, 15.99 USD for 16 GB, 61.99 USD for 64 GB). No longer billing cycle is shown on the Minecraft page, and the terms only say taxes are shown at checkout. The site also sells a bundle of extras, "Trader Sherman's Deal", added to a plan for a monthly fee.

Performance

Plan cards promise "up to Ryzen 9 9950X - 5.7 GHz" with 6 CPU threads up to 8 GB and 8 threads above. The Locations & specs page is more precise and more mixed: US, London and Amsterdam nodes use a Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 9950X or EPYC 4564P (4,252 and 4,728 points single thread on PassMark for the 7950X and 9950X), but Beauharnois and Warsaw run a Ryzen 9 5900X or Ryzen 7 5800X (about 3,450 points), and Mumbai Intel Xeon E-2388G or E-2386G. The site says no specific model is guaranteed. Storage is NVMe, 60 GB by default with free increases under fair use.

Minecraft features

Kinetic Panel handles Java and Bedrock on the same package, with a switch between them, Geyser crossplay, and installers for versions, plugins, mods and 400+ modpacks from CurseForge, FTB and Modrinth. Forge, Fabric, Paper, Spigot and Bukkit are named. Each server gets 5 backup slots, scheduled backups, a MySQL database and 4 "splits" to share its RAM across extra servers. There is no player cap. Fifteen locations are listed, from Washington D.C. and Sao Paulo to Falkenstein, Mumbai and Sydney.

Support and guarantees

Tickets and Discord are answered 24/7, and live chat runs 12 hours a day; the FAQ says support is fully human and averaged a 15-minute response time in 2025. The terms offer a full refund on request within seven days of an initial or renewal payment, except for dedicated IPs and lifetime packages. There is no public free trial. The operator is Dapper Fox Group LTD, registered in England & Wales.
