WinterNode, the game hosting brand of US company HostVenom LLC, sells one Minecraft range at a flat 1.99 USD per GB, from 2 to 32 GB, with Java and Bedrock on the same plans. It offers nine locations, and the Help Center publishes the CPU used in each one, from a Ryzen 9 9900X in Los Angeles and New York to a Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel i9-9900K in Chicago, the default location. The CPU is shared under a fair usage policy, and the storage baseline is not published.
Every Minecraft plan costs 1.99 USD per GB of RAM, from 3.98 USD a month for 2 GB to 63.68 USD for 32 GB. Prices are in US dollars with no tax information. Los Angeles and Miami add 1 USD a month, and New York City and Sydney add 2 USD. Longer cycles are discounted: -5% quarterly, -10% semi-annual and -15% annual. A 6 GB server costs 11.94 USD monthly or 10.15 USD a month on an annual cycle. A dedicated IP costs 4 USD a month. Upgrades are prorated.
The CPU depends on the location. Los Angeles and New York use a Ryzen 9 9900X (4,672 points in single-thread on PassMark), Helsinki and Falkenstein a Ryzen 9 7950X3D (4,144 points), Miami a Ryzen 9 7950X (4,252 points) and Gravelines a Ryzen 7 9800X3D (4,420 points). Sydney and London use a Ryzen 7 5800X (3,448 points), and Chicago, the default location, a Ryzen 7 3700X (2,654 points) or an Intel i9-9900K. CPU is not capped but shared under a fair usage policy. Storage is NVMe, described as unmetered, but each server has an unpublished baseline that support raises for free on request.
The configurator offers Paper, Purpur, Vanilla, Spigot, Forge, Fabric and NeoForge, the BungeeCord, Waterfall and Velocity proxies, Vanilla Bedrock and more than 300 one-click modpacks. Geyser cross-play is supported on Java servers. Player slots are unlimited. The panel is Pterodactyl, with SFTP, a file manager and a modpack manager. Backups run every 12 hours and are kept 45 days on a separate server; restores are requested by ticket. MySQL databases are included.
Support is by ticket and on Discord, with an average reply time of about 1 hour and 24/7 support announced on the home page. A refund can be requested within 48 hours, only for the first eligible game server, once per customer, excluding crypto payments. No free trial is published. A 99.9% uptime SLA is announced. The operator is HostVenom LLC, under the laws of Illinois, which has hosted since 2012.
