PebbleHost prices Minecraft by the GB: 1.00 USD per GB on Budget and 2.25 USD per GB on Premium, from 1 to 36 GB. Premium is the range to look at for a busy or modded server, with a Ryzen 9 9900X in Europe, a Ryzen 9 9950X3D in North America and backups included. Budget is cheap but runs on older CPUs, and backups and the modpack installer cost extra.

Prices scale linearly with RAM: Budget at 1.00 USD per GB (4 GB for 4.00 USD, 16 GB for 16.00 USD) and Premium at 2.25 USD per GB (4 GB for 9.00 USD, 16 GB for 36.00 USD). Budget 1 to 3 GB can only be paid per quarter (3.00 USD for 1 GB). Paying 3, 6 or 12 months is labelled 3%, 5% and 7% off, but the reduction only appeared on the 4 GB Budget order page, not on the 1 GB plans. Prices are in US dollars and the site does not state whether VAT is included. Options add to the bill: a dedicated IP without port costs 5.00 USD a month, Overdrive guaranteed CPU 7.50 to 15.00 USD.

Budget uses a Ryzen 7 5700X (3,386 PassMark single-thread points) in Europe, a Core i9-9900K (2,908) in North America and a Xeon E-2236 in Australia, with DDR4 at 2133 MHz. Premium uses a Ryzen 9 9900X (4,672) in Europe and a Ryzen 9 9950X3D (4,737) in North America, but EPYC 4465P and 4244P CPUs in other regions, with DDR5 at 4800 MHz. Premium plans get 1 thread at 1 to 3 GB, 4 threads at 8 GB and 8 at 36 GB. Storage is unmetered NVMe on both ranges and player slots are unlimited.

Minecraft features

The order form offers Paper, Purpur, Spigot, Folia, Pufferfish, Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, Mohist, Vanilla, Bedrock and snapshots, plus one-click installs for 12,000+ modpacks. On Budget the modpack installer costs 4.00 USD a month and automatic daily backups 1.30 to 1.75 USD; 2 manual backups are free. Premium includes daily backups, hourly incremental backups and the modpack installer. The in-house panel offers full FTP access, subusers, a firewall manager, a free MySQL database and free subdomains.
